Jamie and Hunter [from my maternity session below] had their gorgeous little boy a week after their shoot with me! I was so thankful to them for letting me do this little cutie's newborn pictures as well! [He is a week old here!]

Cohen got to used my other backdrop and didn't quite fit in with the Valentine's Day theme that the girls did! But I couldn't not share his cute pictures! So he gets his very own post!

Happy Valentines Day <3

My parents bought me some photography things for my birthday and I wanted to give my new backgrounds and light a try! So I invited two of my friends to bring their little ones over for a mini valentine's day photo shoot! It was a great day! No huge melt downs and I think I got some really good shots of them all!

Jessica and Amelia

This was one of the first nice days [weather-wise] that we've had in a while! I was very excited to get out and shoot! Jessica and her 13 month old daughter Amelia were so much fun! Amelia was full of energy and was all over the place! She was adorable! If you've ever seen my daughter you know I'm partial to pig tails so I was in heaven with this blue-eyed cutie!

Sweet Sierra::January 2009

Sierra was born the day after my daughter, Lily! I was so excited to do this shoot because I thought it would be right up my alley! Well, it didn't go quite as well as I planned! I ended up breaking a candle, spilling hot wax and gas all over their kitchen floor... within 5 minutes of me being there! It was a rough start! But her parents were great and didn't make me feel like the fool I was! Sierra was great! She wasn't quite sitting up yet and didn't like being on her tummy but loved the necklaces and rose petals her mommy bought for the shoot! So all-in-all I think it was a good time and I got some pretty shots of her! So I was happy:)
